Our first product was the Diamond Wheel Hand Edger, a replacement for the ceramic abrasive wheels used traditionally for glass grinding. Models came out based on the kinds of needs, and this led to further innovations in the product that were specific for the optical market. Optilab smartly began manufacturing metal-bonded diamond wheels for internal purposes, which later included tools for more other kinds of optical glass applications, such as generator tools and lapping tools. The company has been able to produce successfully metal-bonded tools suitable for glass and ceramic applications, as well as wheels for resin lenses like CR and polycarbonate.

The manufacturing facility of the company is strategically located in Anand which is highly acclaimed for industrial developments. We are quality products have created a strong reputation among market communities not only in India but also in neighboring and developing countries, capturing a market share more than 30%. After the discontinuation of the successful GSA 1 model by Grand Seiko Co., Japan, we collaborated with them to produce the OLA-2 and OL-1 Hand Edgers. Inter-1, developed by us, is India's most successful semi-automatic edger. Our research team is presently engaged in developing India's first ever fully indigenous auto edger.
